The Chicago Tribune profiles Tom Frank’s old and new endeavor. The Baffler is back and personally, I can’t wait. From the article:
Published from 1988 until 2003, The Baffler is slated to return in November. The big targets remain consumer and business culture, “the bubble of the moment,” as it once put it. Frank will be the editor, and it will be published in Chicago — twice yearly and with more regularity, Frank says.
I wrote a few articles for the magazine during its first go-around, none of which I can find at the moment. But I did come across this wikipedia entry, which indicates that I was in very good company at the time.
